(0002072) samogon (reporter) 2015-08-31 13:52 edited on: 2015-08-31 13:54	Насколько я помню - в СВД используются только матчевые патроны 7n1.Всё остальное - для менее точного оружия,например ПК.Трассеры снайперской винтовке точно ни к чему. Безусловно - стрелять оно будет и валовыми патронами,но зачем?Возможно если бы была распаковка патронов по принципу DayZ,но её нет.

(0002073) Bad Tankman (viewer) 2015-08-31 14:43	7N14 , 7N1 was well known ammo, but i remember on polygon using of firing ammo (dont know its the proper name - it was fosforised ammo making fire :) ), and some armor piercing. Those two on the start are sniper rounds (7n14) and normal with lead core and steel penetrator (7N1). Im not expert, i just was using this 8 times in my life on shooting range. @voyager, Maybe its beacuse my age, maybe its beacuse its my first special game (with mod) i dont know, but i feel devoted with this project as i spent lot of my life with Soviet/Russian hardware in Polish army (from very early 80's till very late 90's) and i just love this harware. Its very, very primitive, and even more accurate :) Simply in use, easy to repair.... As an ex tankman i operated T-72, BRDM, BMP-1, MTLB and much more (even T-64 on training in Soviet territory). That was great adventure and i never forget it, only way to continue this now is games (as i'm too old for crewman :D ), that my new hobby, as the computers - i'm fresh in this, but i'm very interested in it.

Generally have a lot of types ammo for SVD makes no sense.7n1 is the most common for SVD. 7.62x54r have a lot of types of them since 1891,and most of them still using now,usually in low precision weapon,like PKM/PKT or by guerilla.

(0002198) Izelor (reporter) 2015-09-14 12:14 edited on: 2015-09-15 01:26	Введение нетрадиционных для СВД боеприпасов ведёт к изменению в баллистике, а значит к неактуальности прицельной сетки ПСО, что в свою очередь ставит параллельный вопрос о реализации в ПСО зероинга. К слову, в учебке, нам строго-настрого запрещали использовать трассирующие бп в СВД, вероятно из-за усиленного загрязнения ствола или перегрева, не уверен.
