Summary | 0000880: Soldier armed with M-249 seems locked in a reload animation.
Description | The soldier is still moving with the formation and pointing at enemies. However, the weapon's cover/feed mechanism is raised as if the soldier was attempting to reload a fresh belt. However, the operation didn't complete. I was running a long simulation in observe position. I noted this defective unit. I ended the simulation after determining which specific unit was defective. This is how I equip units with custom loadouts. (this perhaps is the issue?) The infantry unit the defective unit was attached to had been roving through the mountains of Takistan engaging other infantry units. No enemy aircraft were present. Only friendly flights occasionally.
Steps To Reproduce | This was the defective unit's loadout: removeHeadgear this; removeGoggles this; removeallweapons this; removeallassigneditems this; removeallcontainers this; this addUniform "rhs_uniform_FROG01_d"; this addheadgear "rhsusf_ach_bare_tan_headset"; this addvest "rhsusf_iotv_ocp_SAW"; this addItem "FirstAidKit"; this addMagazines ["HandGrenade", 2]; this addMagazines ["MiniGrenade", 2]; this addmagazines ["rhsusf_200Rnd_556x45_soft_pouch", 1]; this addweapon "rhs_weap_m249_pip"; this addmagazines ["rhsusf_200Rnd_556x45_soft_pouch", 1]; this addmagazines ["rhsusf_100Rnd_556x45_soft_pouch", 1]; this addMagazines ["SmokeShell", 1]; this addmagazines ["SmokeShellBlue", 1]; this addItem "FirstAidKit"; this addPrimaryWeaponItem "rhsusf_acc_ELCAN"; this addPrimaryWeaponItem "rhsusf_acc_anpeq15A"; this addweapon "ItemCompass"; this addweapon "ItemMap"; this addweapon "ItemRadio"; this addweapon "ItemWatch"; this addweapon "ItemGPS"; this addWeapon "rhsusf_ANPVS_14"; this assignItem "NVGoggles"; this assignItem "Binocular"; this addBackPack "B_kitbag_cbr"; this addmagazines ["rhsusf_100Rnd_556x45_soft_pouch", 3]; this addGoggles "G_Bandanna_khk";

I have just tried that situation with a normal US Army Autorifleman with default loadout and also with the one you presented. And I'm unable to reproduce it. Could you give us some more information about when the error happened. Were you using Arma 3 vanilla + RHS only when this error happened? What terrain pack were you using? |
