Description | All attempts to destroy Bradley fail with wire guided missiles or cannon fire and gbu's as well | ||||||||
Steps To Reproduce | place down Bradley. Place down any tank, helicopter or plane with cannon or wire guided missiles. Engage Bradley. watch your ammo count dwindle with no cook off. | ||||||||
Additional Information | didn't test on all bradleys however I suggest looking them all over, I believe the issue popped up after the era plates were updated to more realistic variants. You can destroy it, however yes the HULL hitpoint is kinda hard to hit (I have been sucessful when hitting right side of the bradley next to the engine). From what I understand RHS has done some of their custom armor modifications, but since there are no docs released as to how this works for people who got used to the vanilla system this feel weird. But this might as well be an issue with the HULL hitpoints. |

I thought it might just be based off the era plates. But like i said, they work on the abrams. Most my shots where at the right side of the bradley and if the engine is where i think it is (at mid rear) i definitely should have had cookoff with the t90. |

ok it tried wire guiding the Bradley again, out of 3 1 blew up. I am with nick, the placements on the shots have to be very precise to get any hull damage registration |

Hull hitpoint is in fact more acting as "ammo storage" hitpoint there. Ammo for M242 is stored right below the turret ring & in front part of turret so it's rather hard to get catastrophic damage. You can still kill Bradley crew pretty easily with shots to the turret. It's also possible to destroy Bradley with single GBU on my end - are you using some mods? |

i did test with CBA_3 and Achilles on and off. I also noticed you can destroy it with the su 25 rocket pods as well, using about 14 or so rockets direct strikes. However the point still remains about cannon fire and russian missiles doing diddly squat to the vehicle. |

what do you mean minimal damage? Turret & gun should be also destroyed. There is no way to get ammo cookoff beyond hitting ammo compartment. Are you using some 3rd party mods? |

So hull hit points dont matter? There should be more than 1 way to completely destroy the vehicle! And as i said above, with cba3 and achilles turned on and off |

you can still fire few times at engine compartment to ignite explosion. Basically, after single shot, vehicle is knocked out of action anyway. |

Well vcom ai apparently know where to shoot better than i do... got destroyed by a btr80a so close this out... |
