Summary | 0003976: Su-25 needs flight model rewamp
Description | Hi RHS, The Su-25 needs a flight model overhaul. The plane seems to be to heave for its engines and even a A-10A from USAF can easily follow and take out an Su-25 with just their 30mm Canon. The Su-25 has two engines and normally is faster and more agile then the A-10 if you go for specs you will get proof. Also since the Su-25 is lighter and can't carry the same amount of weapons then an A-10. So: A-10 is heavy, and have lots of Bombs for ground and all that, but lacks of speed and manueverbility. Su-25 lacks of some hartpoints and can't take the same amount of ordnance like the A-10. But has better manueverbility and more speed.
Steps To Reproduce | Right now the Su-25 flies like a big whale. Heavy, not agile at all and stall is even present just after take off. 1.) Place Su-25 2.) Fly

Engines of Su-25 have a little more Pounds trust then A-10. A-10 can load more because it weights more. Su-25 is lighter in terms of weight then A-10 Do you need more proof? http://www.sukhoi.org/eng/planes/military/su25k/lth/ [^] http://www.boeing.com/defense/support/a-10-wing-replacement-program/index.page#/tech-spec [^] |

how does those values translate to flight characteristics? Do you know that there are many more factors for flight behavior like shape, wing span, etc? We can perfectly read wikipedia but those values means nothing without deeper understanding about how they translate to real life. Have you played DCS maybe? If any changes are need then it's more about reducing maneuverability of A10A instead |
