Summary | 0002478: Lack of Editing Capability For Item Attributes
Description | If one tries to open and edit the attributes of items through script editors (namely CodeBlocks), the changes made can be saved, but will always revert once the editor is closed/the game is launched. I was trying to make these changes strictly to affect my copy of the mod to balance things for specific scenarios. Is there a way around this, or is it a feature/bug currently applied to all item attributes? Does it have something to do with enabling the mod in Steam's launch attributes?
Steps To Reproduce | Open up a file containing attributes for wearables, weapons, etc, change attributes, save changes, close editing program and start game.
Additional Information | I have always kept the mod in the "launch properties" option in Steam.

Can you please provide more context? We are unclear about what yo are trying to do. |

To provide more context, I was trying to change damage, velocity, and rate of fire statistics on weapons, as well as armor ratings for vests and vehicles to temporarily change the mod so one side would have a huge advantage. |
