Summary | 0003820: Hellfire N, M, K types seem to be quite useless. | ||||||||
Description | If I fly anything other than a AH-64D Longbow I am unable to use AGM-114N,K,M type missiles. No locks can be generated at all with other types. I just finished an exhaustive series of tests. Whatever change that was made recently needs to be rethought. A year ago everything worked perfectly. My ai could shoot missiles (albeit too quickly.. they waste ammo) and I could use any of these Helos. This is quite frustrating. It's a absolute game breaking issue in regards to my use of these fantastic helicopters that have been modded. | ||||||||

Additional Information | I placed some T-72s from the TV group of Russian tanks. They manage to shoot my helo down pretty quick. Suggest fix here as well. | ||||||||

It's laser guided weapon - how do you try to use it? Ai can use those as manual guided missiles but you need to keep LOS all the time |

- switch to laser - enable it - switch to hellfire K/M/N - press lock button - fire - here you go or you can do it another way: - tell your mate to enable laser designator - switch to TWS or NVS - find laser marker - lock it - fire - here you go |

my experience is, they follow the reticle and no matter if the laser is turned on or not. this should be fixed. and the L-version shouldn't be able to lock on, if the longbow radar was removed. |
