| Summary | 0000958: Upload RHS to Steam Workshop |
| Description | I know this issue has been mentioned numerous times in forums but it seems RHS is under the laboring under the misconception that BIS or the Steam Workshop has a limit that precludes you from uploading RHS to the Workshop. This is incorrect.
I have contacted both Steam and BIS regarding this and they both insist that there is no size limit with regards to addons being uploaded to the Steam Workshop.
In fact there are A3 addons that are significantly larger than RHS already on the Arma3 Steam Workshop.
Maintaining mods is a tedious process for Arma3 customers as you most likely are aware - given that many users use upwards of 30 addons for Arma3. Manually checking every mod for an update is becoming a major issue for most people.
The Arma3 Launcher coupled to the SW resolves most of the headache related to addon management due to the built in automated update process. Hence this request. |
