Nevertheless, missile is quite maneuverable in real life too since it's i.e. able to climb quite quickly in LOAL-HI mode.
As for the thing that you observed, when you are launching missile, it goes to last location where turret was looking and as you could notice, navigation to that point doesn't need a laser - it's part of initial guidance. Perhaps what is happening on video is too much but since RHS AGM is using vanilla autoseekfunctionality and very little to no scripts for missile guidance, I don't think there is a way to fix it .
