BM-21 using electric drive for turret. And gets electricity using a generator connected to the engine. Isn't it? |

not sure but i think it uses the battery on the truck and turning the battery on doesnt require to turn on the whole engine, just like cars you dont need to turn on the engine to turn on the radio or interior lights i could be wrong though i cant find sources to demonstrate the functionality however it also happens with the T-14 and many other vehicles |
