Summary

0004564: Replace UH-1Y Sight/"HUD" with a HMD.

Description

The RHS:USAF UH-1Y helicopter (USMC faction) has in-game a sight (called in the action menu as "HUD") which is usually retracted upwards but can be lowered at the pilot's eye level in order to aim rockets.

However this is not realistic for the UH-1Y. This kind of sight existed on older UH-1 variants but again this doesn't exist in real life in the UH-1Y and this is because the pilot aims the UH-1Y weapons (usually rockets) with the help of the HMD (Helmet Mounted Display). Actually the UH-1Y pilot helmet is exactly the same as the AH-1Z pilot Helmet, the Thales TopOwl Helmet.

In the link above the following can be read:
"The Optimized Top Owl Helmet Mounted Sight Display (HMSD) supports improved communications and reduced cockpit workload"
"The Optimized Top Owl Helmet HMSD is the most technically advanced helmet available"

-> My suggestion would be to remove the current retractable weapon sight and replace by the same HMD/HUD that we have in the AH-1Z.

-> While we are at the "UH-1 subject", I would recommend adding/implementing the retractable weapon sight that we currently have in the UH-1Y in the "UH-1H Gunship" instead (which can be found for example in the Horizon Island Defence Force Faction).
