Summary | 0003421: BTR-Series Wheels are more durable than the hull |
Description | This is something I've noticed while using the BTR-60/70 variants.
A friend and I were doing some testing with Explosive Charges on the BRDM, BTR-70 and the T-72 and we noticed that for whatever reason the BTRs seem to die in a single hit to explosive charges where a vehicle like the BRDM would not. |
Steps To Reproduce | Placing an Explosive Charge 5m away from a BTR results in vehicle destruction while doing the same with a BRDM only results in a mobility kill.
Placing an Explosive Charge 10-15m away from a BTR will occasionally damage the hull but the wheels are perfectly fine. Doing the same with a BRDM will occasionally damage the wheels but not the hull. |
