you have to use instruments that are inside cockpit. |

Is this a techical difficulty or is there a reason behind that? Why is there a UI compass in other helicopters/positions like the one of AH-1 pilot's? Could door gunners be given a possibility to use a compass tool? It's impossible for them to tell directions otherwise. |

gameplay decision mostly. we try to remove ui elements which duplicates interior instruments. So in case of AH1 it's mix of low quality A2 cockpit & because AH1 have HMD which shows such data in real life. for door gunners it's still possible to give o'clock directions ;) We also remove compass or any unrealistic ui element if i.e. vehicle doesn't have compass or radar IRL |
