| Description | I'm not an expert and I have a question. Why Mk18 Mod 1 and HK416 D10 has greater recoil than longer barrels? Everywhere I read articles SBR's has just less muzzle velocity. I mean recoil must be more dependent on caliber but not barrel lenght. | ||||||||||||

It happens with real weapons. Since the bullet spends less time inside the barrel, the gas port must be wider to allow more gas to push the bolt to the rear faster, increasing recoil. |
