Summary | 0000262: Inconsistent AH-64 autorotation when damaged (RotorLib simulation)
Description | There is a problem with Apache's auto rotation ability. In the test mission, when the engines are damaged by script, Apache auto rotation works just fine. However, when hit by AA missile, the machine tends to preserve altitude for 5-6 seconds, and then drastically lose its lift. In both cases the auto rotation sequence started at 180 km/h, 100 m. In case of other helicopters (e.g. UH-60, Mi-24, Ka-52) the auto rotation works fine.
