Summary

0002563: Firing Russian tank ATGM causes crash on impact

Description

When firing Russian tank ATGM, sometimes game will CTD. Very often, in every session I tried.

At ground: Occasional crash, sometimes small freeze.
At identical tank: Sometimes crash, usually on 1st time, maybe 2nd time. Game will freeze when aiming at target, before impact, then crash.

Have not tested with other targets.

Running only CBA and all RHS mods. Happened in older version of game, running stable public build now. Re-installed RHS a few times to be sure, should be fine install.

Island Tanoa, vehicle is AFRF T-72 Obr. 1984. Other tanks cause this, but I have not tested every single one. I have not tested if AI firing crashes.

Steps To Reproduce

Open editor
Place Soviet/Russian tank player as gunner
Place down identical tank
Player fire ATGM at ground then tank

Additional Information

Seems like a script error. Arma 3 gives very random and varied crash reports, usually status access violation.

I've tried the fixes, issue is identical. I re-installed my Arma and will test it out when I can. EDIT: Tried now, game crashed when switching ammo to main gun APFSDS.
