| Summary | 0004246: Clipping of clothing in optic view |
| Description | Clipping of vest item in optic view when aiming high to hold over a target or aim at distance, when using the magnified view. Less likely to present when vest is not worn - may still occur with some uniforms on their own (e.g. ones with high necks) - also does not occur when the optic is used with the magnifier down. Also more prominent when using the weapon in the prone position. |
| Steps To Reproduce | Mount G33+XPS3 on a RIS capable weapon, have magnifier in place, rest/bipod against a suitable surface, aim high and swivel left/right until spot is found where clipping occurs. Or lay prone and mount, aim down sights with magnifier and adjust aim to reproduce. |
| Additional Information | Clipping is easier to reproduce on some surfaces when outside on maps, makes holding above targets difficult if having to use low-height cover to engage distant targets. Unsure if backpacks are a contributing factor - no difference with vest and backpack, compared to just vest. |
