Summary |
0002310: M4 Carl Gustav, Body Armor Inconsistencies, Stryker |

Description |
The Army currently employs the M4 Carl Gustav in AT/assault units. It would be nice to have it ingame. Also, the US body armor seems somewhat inconsistent with regard to protection. The SPC has a higher degree of protection than the IOTV, which makes no sense, as both utilize the same E-SAPI plates (NIJ Class IV protection vs. .30-06 AP), and the IOTV has a greater degree of coverage of the soldier. This would be easy to fix, with one simply making the protection uniform across platforms. Also, having the M113 but not the Stryker seems odd, as most US Army combat units use the Stryker in direct operations. It has protection vs. 14.5mm all arcs. Having this in-game would add greatly to realism. |
