"even in the vanilla version, artillery has such a type of "guided" projectiles, guided by GPS" there is no such thing in vanilla. There LG shells but not GPS ones |

Nope, this is not LG shell,as indicated on Arma wiki, "Guided: 4 metre blast radius, infrared-guided; will attempt to home in onto "hot" vehicles within a radius of 800 metres. The submunition separates from the main shell once it is 500 metres above the impact zone. The IR seeker has a 10% chance to lose lock against smoke countermeasures".
I tested it against infantry on custom building on distance near 23.000m(United Sahrani map from CUP, M4 Scorcher), and it has almost pinpoint accuracy, just like real Excalibur shell, unlike common HE shells. |

IR guided shell is... a IR guided shell. GPS guided shells are able to correct their flight path to hit target that was programmer to their memory while IR guided shells are seeking any heat signature when they less 0000069:0000150 meters above ground level |
