|Description||when approaching the bmp3 gunner's sight, the turret automatically rotates itself to the left by almost 180 degrees. is it possible to somehow get rid of this? |

no. no mods. I know that problems should always be looked for without mods. only rhs afrf is connected.
the sight changes to bmp3, and in the video
bmp3 "vesna-k" (rhs_bmp3m_msv) and bmp3 "vesna-k\db" (rhs_bmp3mera_msv).
in general, the turret turns like this only for a BMP with a sight with a thermal imager. for other bmp3s with a "mechanical" sight, the turret does not rotate like that.
go to the arsenal, select this bmp and just increase the scope as much as possible. the turret will turn
|I cannot reproduce it on my end - could you provide rpt perhaps? Maybe try verifying mods on SW too? As I mentioned, reticle should change when you zoom in - it doesn't happen on your end so it seems something is broken on your end.|
note the same effect with helicopters:
1. UH1Y. when you sit as a 2 pilot everything is fine. the camera itself does not move, but when you switch them in the arsenal, the camera rotates itself as with a BMP almost 180 degrees.

well, does it happen in editor? It seems to be virtual garage bug with switching over vehicles - in this case unitInfo is not properly reinitialized. It's arma bug which is affecting Arma 3.

I do not know how to explain correctly, but there is one point. this bug depends on which "step of magnification" you change the viewing angle. The video shows that if the camera returns to the last position of rotation, depending on what "step of magnification" you rotated it before. she seems to be trying to return to the last "remembered" goal. try to change the angle of view of the camera at different "magnification steps". at some point it will turn to the "last" coordinate.
0.44 I look at the target and switch the magnification
0.54 I chose a new target (road) and by pressing the "first step of magnification" the camera itself turned to the previous point (bushes on the mountain)

oh, I see. It happens because you don't have any weapon in hands - seems to be another error in UI deinitalization :|
In any case, problem is not camera movement ( http://feedback.rhsmods.org/view.php?id=780 [^] - here you can find details about issue, it's arma bug with directionStabilized ) but not correct initialization (or deinitialization) of scripts. I know about Virtual Garage & Team Switch bug but I haven't seen report before about having this issue when player doesn't have any weapon in hand. I would probably have to apply so band aid to fix that Arma issue in this case.

|no, it's not same problem - problem is that whole UI scripting is broken in your case so fix for i.e. directionStabilizied doesn't work. It seems it happens if you don't have weapon in your hands - could you verify that its the case?|
|You know that in any "sitting" seat of the pilot or gunner, the bot sits without a weapon, even if it was in his hands before boarding the vehicle. if you mean that there is no weapon in your hands before landing in the vehicle, then the bug occurs so and so. (if you sit down unarmed in advance or sit down with a weapon in your hands)|
