Summary0000693: Russian ammo boxes as fortification objects
DescriptionIt's commonplace for ammo boxes to be used as a means of hasty cover during times of war, it'd be nice to be able to use the ammo box models and possibly expand their usefulness in that regard... I recently experimented with using them as cover and I found them to be great atmospheric pieces... I just wish there were more models to use so I can fit them in certain areas (like a window for instance) To give you an idea I took some in-game screens a while back to basically show off my idea... Nothing urgent, just a thought really, thought someone might find it interesting enough to be implemented.

and what is stopping you to use those wooden crates as fortifications?

I *have* been using them as fortifications, the point I was making is that there isn't much I can do with only one model type, and it's very tedious/pointless to add multiple ammo boxes together to achieve a desired look (And the shape of the model prevents stacking/combining.) It's a very common tactic to fill ammo crates with dirt to create hasty fighting positions.
