| Summary | 0006600: M249 cooks off without having a jam | ||||
| Description | I am using ACE3 mod with overheat enabled. Per ace wiki: https://ace3mod.com/wiki/feature/overheating.html [^] "Open bolt weapons (most machineguns) cannot cookoff unless jammed." The M249 is an open bolt gun and thus shouldn't cook off without a jam. This suggests to me that the configuration file for the M249 is incorrectly configured as a closed bolt gun. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Enable ACE3 mod and the default overheat settings. Load a scenario, place a soldier with an M249 and enough ammunition. Shoot around 6-800 rounds. Watch the cookoffs happen, even if you cleared any jams. | ||||
| Additional Information | The CUP M249 doesn't cook off without being jammed. | ||||
