0006309: M1 tanks damage output
I don't know if this has been asked or not, but, I have noticed in my 1k+ hours of playing Arma with RHS that the damage output of the M1 tanks feels like it is lacking. For example, whenever I shoot a SABOT round at a Russian tank like a T70 family of tanks, it doesn't do anything and it takes like 4 sabot rounds to effectively destroy the tank, while the T72 can one-shot my tank Now, its my understanding that a sabot can, for a lack of better terms, make smoothies out of the crew on the receiving end. Whenever I use the nato slammer tank in arma against a Redfor RHS tank, it oneshots the redor tank.. And whenever I play steel beasts( a tank sim) one shot of a sabot blows the top off a T72. Is there a way you can increase the damage output of the M1 tanks? Its not a major issue but I feel the Abrams should be quite superior next to older tanks.
I guess go into Editor and command a T72 and try shooting an Abrams with a crew in it, then swap the roles for shooting the T72.

As with any tank, if you want to one shot it then aim at the ammo storage. We modelled our T tanks with ammo only in carousel (Russian Army is using it this way in combat due to hazard that stored ammo posses to the crew in case of penetration by SABOT).
Also, crew damage is simulated in RHS and in most cases shots to the turret are going to kill commander or gunner.
