Summary0005856: DH 5-20x56 scope doesn't preserve magnification
DescriptionThe "DH 5-20x56 scope" always return to minimum magnification when the
weapon is lowered.
Steps To Reproduce1- Look through the scope and put any magnification bigger than minimal
2- Lower the weapon
3- Look through the scope again

that is arma bug I'm afraid. You can try it with i.e. vanilla Laser Designator.
I think it's already reported there https://feedback.bistudio.com/project/view/1/ [^] but if not, you can fill a new ticket. Obviously, we could do a workaround on our end by making it fixed steps optic, instead of continuos one, but realism would be affected by such action. There is still small A3 live ops team so something like might get fixed one day
