are all other sights like that too? I'm afraid it's just how game is working. Some of the A3 scopes are using actual mesh but that method has it's own drawbacks (no alpha crossover and it's hard to do complex shapes this way |

The ACOG is the worst, but I did actually notice this with some vanilla scopes now that I think about it.
I think I will just turn up textures and not worry :)
I wonder whether it's possible to double the resolution of the base texture or something.. so that it when downscale it is still high rez. I don't really know how it works

I dont think that would work. The game will still mipmap this. But its not just the scope's fault its overall performance/things on the map. The game tries to optimize in realtime to make the experience smoother. Actually making it higher would more likely make it worse. |

when you set setting lower than very high all textures are down scaled to 1024x1024. As Soul_Assassin mentioned, increasing resolution of texture will make that effect in worse, since automatically generated downscale will be even more blurry |
