Summary0004645: M1117 ASV stuck at 17~18kph
DescriptionWhen you drive M1117 ASV for a while, you will stuck at 17~18kph and transmission will be down shifted so speed will be dropped to 12~15kph. And this sequence will repeat again and again.
Steps To ReproduceDrive M1117 ASV for a while that slightly inclined roads.
Additional InformationYou may not experience this for 5 minutes.

It happened at live server but I also hard to reproduce with single player.
Unfortunately server that I played just changed setting.

If something like this happens again could you try switching engine on & off? Perhaps it's one of the Arma quirks that happens from time to time

I will do and if I have that problem even after engine on & off, I will record video for it.

I just played few more time with M1117 ASV.
Exact problem is low gear shifting at 18kph.
It is changed too quick even on low slope so vehicle loses torque and that makes slow down vehicle to 12~15kph. But since slope isn't that big, vehicle gets 18kph again, upshifting, slow down, 18kph, upshifting and it repeats. It just ruins gameplay.
Solution 1
Set slow forward speed(default key : LCtrl+W) to 17kph from 20+kph
Solution 2 (I think it is better.)
Set gear shifting range to 20+kph from 18kph

is it happening on some specific map? I tried it on Stratis & Altis and it was working fine

Did you test it on hill? On flat surfaces, it works fine.
I tested on CUP Takistan map.
That map has many hills.

Yeah, I tested it on stratis hill going from airport to radar station. Could you try testing it on Stratis so we can rule out it is some map issue?
