Will set it to 1000/2000 for the time being but have numerous reasons to suspect that the gun on AH-6M may have been limited to 1300rpm to reduce recoil force yaw, vibration and barrel wear. The guys behind the MELB mod must have set that fire rate for a reason.
The lighter GAU-19/B that was developed for late OH-58 blocks a couple of years before the AH-6J-to-AH-6M upgrade, was likewise limited to 1300rpm, and the rate on GAU-19/A has been adjusted for other uses where vibration was a problem on small platforms similar to AH-6 (1250rpm for Naval use, and as previously mentioned 1300 for HMMWV use). 1300 seems to have emerged as the optimal rate for the weapon since the 2010s.
I just can't find sources that categorically state if the gun's fire rate is limited on AH-6 vs the full rate it enjoyed on the MH-60 and CH-47. Only that it doesn't seem to have been equipped on the AH-6J until the 2000s GWOT created an urgent operational requirement, and became a standard part of the Littlebird's arsenal with the AH-6M
