0004515: IHADSS night/termal vision has a low/short Viewdistance.
The recent updates regarding the IHADSS night/termal vision including having the "green" termal vision together with having the flight/target information (at the same time as the termal vision) are excellent and made the Apache combat effective again at night.

However I noticed that the viewdistance of the IHADSS night/termal vision is quite short which difficults navigation during "pitch black" nights.
An increase in viewdistance of the IHADSS night/termal vision would greatly improve the already great IHADSS night/termal vision solution.
1- Open the Editor and select "pitch black" night conditions. For example select time as 00:00 and overcast conditions of 75% (or above).

2- Place an Apache on the map with the player begin the pilot.

3- Use IHADSS with night/termal vision and fly around.

4- Now compare with a clear and with good light conditions night and the viewdistance should be higher because the "naked eye" compensates. However this should demonstrate that the viewdistance of the IHADSS termal vision is quite short.

PiP view distance is controlled by Picture in Picture control - with RHS you can increase PiP view distance up to 12km

Oops, I didn't know about this. Following your reply I noticed that even with the 6000m setting in the PiP option is fine and much, much better.
Thanks very much for your reply.

And sorry for reporting you a non-issue but again I didn't know about this.
