can you record video of what are you talking about? I can move head on copilot seat without even pressing "Alt" key |

I should have been more precise: the issue is with the new UH1H version only. Not with the UH1Y version.
In the linked video you can see how I place the unit in the editor, then select the copilot and click "Play as this character". Don't be confused about the mouse pointer pointing somewhere else because my screen is actually upside down which messes the video recording up a bit.
In the video I use my OpenTrack headset and as soon as I spawn in the copilot seat I move my head around. The movement of the head seems to be translated to the wrong axis because instead of looking left, right, up and so on it moves the head to the left, right, etc.
As soon I select "take controls" the head movements are correct. As soon as I release the controls they translate to the incorrect axis.

EDIT: Looking around with the mouse does not work at all even if I press the ALT key. It only works if I select "Take controls" from the ArmA menu.

So it's only happening with track ir? |

No, I get this too.
Just play as copilot for this chopper and hold "ALT" and try and move around. The head motion is very limited maybe 1-2 degrees each side. |

Okay I see the problem.
The unarmed version has a weapon "cannon" you see in the video.
But there is no actual cannon.
So to fix it, press "FIRE" (LMB) this cannon will then disappear and head will start moving as it should. |

I can confirm it is the copilots cannon. Even the unarmed version of the UH1H has a cannon for the copilot. As soon as I try to fire the cannon it disappears and the head movements become normal. |

Could you try setting that unit as player instead of using play as this character? |

When setting the copilot as player the issue does not occur!
When setting the pilot as player and the copilot as playable, then do a teamswitch ingame to the copilot the issue does occur. |

it's arma issue with showToPlayer = 0 not working correctly with remote units. Only workaround is what 7ftnick mentioned |
