Yes, but it should still be strong enough so that a truck cannot just shrug it off and keep going...
I'll have to check against RHS vehicles, haven't tested it extensively but found this example rather disturbing. |

Given that the Tempest (Kamaz Typhoon) is a MRAP class vehicle and the OG7 is a 40mm frag round, I'm not too surprised by your video, especially because it looks like you hit it dead on the frontal armour, likely to be pretty thick.
...also note that the Typhoon "...is fitted with 10.00-20 wheels and 16.00 R20 bullet-resistant tires with blast-resistant inserts." Another article claims that "reservations [armoured compartments?] withstand hit of 30-mm ammunition."
That truck was coming at you at a fair clip, in any case, and even if you'd penetrated it, I think your ticket was punched. |
