IR illuminators can't be made properly for Arma with the same function as regular visible flashlights.

The engine can only produce NV-only IR illumination for omnidirectional "markerlights" used for things such as starshell flares and the strobes.
"Reflector" lights that point in a direction, like flashlights, headlights etc. cannot be configured to only show in night vision mode.
