Can you be a bit more specific? "Too little", "too big" these are subjective concepts. The ammo has realistic characteristics. What is your expected behavior? what are you dog-fighting against?
"when i use the DLC planes in virtual arsenal the F181 and Shikra fighters do the same"
do what the same? |

When I hit an enemy plane, the impact looks like a 20 caliber in damage, and .50 BMG in particle effects. Even when shooting at the ground, the explosion effect off 30 mm do not appear. In fact, when shooting at the infantry only direct shots do damage. There is no area damage, only penetration. This is recognized by comparing the gun shot of the Mig 29 with that of the T50, they use the same ammunition, but the first one produces area damage at impact and the second does not.
Shooting at the ground with the PAK FA T-50, small impacts are observed, as if it were a .50 caliber. On the other hand, with the MIG.29S, explosions and noticeably denser particles are observed, producing in turn explosion damage in the area. |

As for my mention of the DLC Jets, the same thing happens with the new fighters, only with no piercing damage, nothing.

Forgive me for my broken English :D |

The damage of 30x165 and 20x102 it is not balanced. I need to hit the more times than a 20mm NATO from another addon to knock down an A-10 from RHS. But I've found out by trying the F-22 that happens to me just like the F / A-181. In this last case it also has a very reduced damage and no explosion damage and even little impact effects, because I need at least 80 shots to blow an A-10 and I need 50 with the Russian 30 mm. The ammunition 30x165 mm in reality can knock down an A-10 with 20 shots, even cut a wing with 3-5 hits depending of angle. |

Balance with other addons is not something we can do anything about so that you know. |

But it has been a pertinent comparison, insofar as the number of shots and their damage effect on the area of the RHS models are not very close to reality. The number of hits needed to shoot down an enemy aircraft is exaggerated. I hope I have helped at least :3 |

One more thing. Is it possible that the pipper of the Mig 29S is slightly deviated downwards? When I aim even when on the ground, the shots end up one or two degrees above the crosshairs. It is difficult to hit dogfight because the projectiles always pass over the gun cross. |
