Summary | 0003724: AI countermeasures. | ||||
Description | In the current setup helicopters can not detect IR missile launches and are therefore vulnerable to those attacks. I heard that IRL pilots would just launch these flares at random when located in the area of operations with potential manpads. Maybe this is possible to implement for arma ai ? The conditions can be: 1) Pilot in combat mode 2) Random generated number from 30 to 240. Duration between the flare launches. 3) Random generated number from 2 to 10. Amount of pairs of flares launched. (Single flare launch mode then should be added like in vanilla vehicles). Once plane or heli is locked by radar, this script stops and vanilla countermeasure system is used. Once lock disappeared, this script used again. If pilot back to Aware mode, script stopped. | ||||
