Summary0003660: SU-25 Hud CCIP pipper follows ocean floor instead of surface.
DescriptionTry to use the HUD CCIP in the SU-25 with FAB-250, S-8 Rockets or guide the KH-29L.

The weapons miss because they are aiming for the seabed (ocean floor).
Steps To ReproducePlace SU-25 in editor.
Select FAB-250 and KH-29L or ML for loadout.
Place sea-target somewhere on the ocean where it's a little deep (20-30m?).

Fly towards target, try to dive at 45 degree angle (to give the CCIP a run for its money).

Release any of the aforementioned weapons and they will miss.

couldn't reproduce it with S5/8/13 or FABs but indeed Kh25/29 are affected by vanila behavior of laser designator. Not sure if it can be fixed but I will ask programmer about it

Okay. Maybe, just maybe the S5/8/13 and FAB miss can be accredited to my skills, or rather, lack thereof. :) I am however finding that the FABs especially do not land where the CCIP marker is. As if there is some movement of the aircraft not accounted for in the computing. What appears to be consistently off is yaw. Any yaw to the aircraft seems to land rockets and bombs to the sides.

Anyways, you don't have to look into that now. I can do it on my spare-time and make some statistics on it.


Anyways, good luck with looking at whether or not the BI programmers can work out the Laser designator bug. It's not like it will ever be realistic or useful for anyone to lase something under water.

Aren't bomb and FFAR FCS still a wip ?
Cause I noticed they are inaccurate, but I thought @reyhard just madethe laser for kh-25/29 in thispatch and bomb and ffar will be fiished a bit later.
