Hey! As i know A-10 has 360 ir Mm ir sensor to see launches of missiles. So its not an issue, it should be this way.

AN/ALR-69 is installed already on A-10A, same as A-10C, so its correct that it detects ir missiles, as any missiles around at all

AN/ALR-69 is an RWR. it can only detect radars

Air National Guard initially fielded A-10A with AN/AAR-47 MAWS installed, in 2006

Funding for AN/AAR-47 on the A-10 was subsequently rolled in to the ongoing program to upgrade to A-10C standard, before IOC was declared in Sept 2007.

We might remove it though, since it was added very late in the life of the aircraft

I'm not getting any RWR warnings for any type of track or lock. No indication on the instrument panel nor any audio warning.
