0003608: Congratulation to Anton for his Tokarev TT-33 // Offering contribution for APS "Stechkin" & Nagant M1895
Greetings gentlemen,

First of all, a big thank you to Anton for his work for the TT-33 Tokarev and additional contribution to the RHS weaponry.

Now, I would like to offer my help to your project regarding the side weaponry for the GREF and AFRF. As I spend time on shooting range using both of those weapons, I do possess some experience regarding both of the following weapons: APS Stechkin & Nagant M1895.

I would make myself available for the development of both of those widely still used weapons that, I believe, would be a great addition to your project for the following reasons :

APS Stechkin :
- First militarised automatic pistol of the USSR.
- widely popular amongst USSR grunts for its defensive capacity & efficiency.
- can be summarised as an automatic version of the PM Makarov.
- Chambered in 9x18 mm PM the 20 round magazine make it a reliable defensive weapon in close quarters. (can be compared to the C96 Mauser in terms of use)

Nagant M1985 :
- Still is the only revolver in the world that can be combined with a suppressor due to its unique gas compression system.
- Uses a technological pattern called "gas sealed" allowing the cylinder to be realigned to the canon in a plug: in/out motion ensuring maximum gas compression and therefore maximum velocity.
- The cylinder is chamber with 7 rounds of the uncommon 7.62×38mmR calibre
- Aside from this technological advantages, it was quite tricky to reload due to this type of cratridges requiring the use of an ejecting rod to push those cartridges out the cylinder.

I will also put here the technical pages from Wikipedia and if you are interested in making those weapons part of your mod please feel free to reach me and I will provide you additional documentation like the Structural diagram and technical input.

Looking forward to your answer.

Kind regards

Colonel Dax

P.S. Please excuse my English as I am French and therefore English is not my first language.

could you send some your 3d models? That's the only way you could contribute here since references for those guns are widely available ;)

Sadly not, but I do believe I've seen someone doing 3D modelling on both of those.

I'll investigate this on my side and will get back to you if I manage to get in touch with the guy.

Thank you for your time, will keep in touch.

Kind regards

Colonel Dax
