which acog version do you use? PiP, 3d, 2d? |

Sorry was posting from my phone. I play with 506IR and they issue the M150 RCO to all members, so that's what I've been using to test the ammo types in the game. This also applies to the TA31RCO (Desert) and TA31RCO (Woodland) Optics, as they all share the same reticle.

yes, but I'm asking about optic type. Press escape, open RHS Game Options & tell me please what is your preferred optic type in this menu |

Most of us including myself have it set to 2D by default. |

Update:
I tested the M16 with the M150RCO using the Bohemia 5.56mm 30rnd Mag items, and the shots match up perfectly at all ranges. I was using the M4 before.
However, the RHS 5.56mm M855 and M856 rounds hit consistently high in both rifles |

To add to this particular issue, aside from ballistics between types of rounds, I've noticed that when using the PVQ-31A and M150 on M4-length rifles on 3D/PiP settings, the rounds will always fall short. For example, in VA when firing at the 500m target using the 500m stadia line, regardless of the type of round used, they always fall short and hit the target below the knees. However, when using either optic on the M16A4, the shots line up where they should.
I understand that the PVQ-31A is supposed to be calibrated for the M16A4's barrel length, so that makes perfect sense, but isn't the M150 supposed to be calibrated for M4-length barrels (similar to how the USMC uses the PVQ-31B for this exact reason)? |
