Description | The nuclear warhead on the Tochka only makes a small explosion, every once in a while it will work correctly with the proper damage, screen effect, and mushroom cloud. |

After some testing it seems that the nuclear explosion will be triggered if you are within 1.1km of where the missile hits. The issue is that it will not cause very much destruction if you are not within this radius. |

any 3rd part mods used? what's your PC setup (CPU)? what kind of frame rate do you get? could you post .rpt? I just launched 5 nuke at target 19km away - each one blow up target without the issue |

I'm running only RHS mods, CPU is Intel i7 4790 @ 3.6GHz, frame rate unually 60-80 fps. I've uploaded the .rpt from my last testing, I first tried playing on Stratis and found that the warhead worked fine, so I moved on to Altis and tried exactly what I was doing before hand (firing a nuclear warhead at Abdera and the surrounding area from the south end of the runway just north of the town) a couple times and the nuke didn't go off. I then tried firing the warhead from elsewhere on the map and found that everything worked fine. So it's quite strange because it consistently doesn't work if you fire it from that airfield. There may be other locations which cause such behaviour but I haven't found any so far.
EDIT: Just tried testing on Chernarus (Using CUP Terrains) and for some reason launching it in some areas works correctly whereas others don't. Not sure what causes this yet (perhaps mountainous terrain somehow?).

could you upload repo mission where that error occurs? I have on suspect on the list but having good repo mission would speed up things
Current code takes Above Ground Level coordinates which, in case of difference of height above 300 meters (cause K & B warheads have proximity fuse set on such distance) may lead to exploding missile in the ground. I changed script so Above Sea Level values are handled and for 99% it should fix the issue. Therefore, repro mission to confirm that would be much appreciated

Okay I've uploaded the mission file. I placed markers showing where it does and doesn't work.
Sounds like there's a pretty good chance that that's the culprit. |
