0000249: Gear/Equipment/Supplies on M1A1/M1A2 tanks
I would like to see M1A1 and M1A2 tanks having random gear/equipment/supplies on them like attached sleeping bags or backpacks on the side of the turret, extra fuel cans or ammunition boxes or other stuff at back of the turret, etc..

AFAIK, US Armed Forces after lessons learned from Iraq, decided that vehicles in combat zones, should not carry all this stuff hanging from them, as it easy catch fire, and burning fragments can fall on to engine deck and eventuall fal inside engine compartment through air induction ports, some tanks catched fire like this because crew lieked to carry all that stuff outside.

This is not issues only tracker. Posts on BI forums get lost pretty quick.

Anyway, this request/wish can be ignored then.

Yeah we will think about it, source material is inconclusive about storage method on vehicles when it comes to crew belongings after Iraq and Afghanistan.

Hard to say how this looks in combat conditions that obviously differs from peace time conditions.
