Summary | 0002452: M145 MGO bullet drop compensation doesn't work properly on M240/M249 |
Description | The markings on the M145 MGO scope don't accurately reflect the ranges the bullets will hit at. Bullets seem to hit too low, both at 500 and 700 meter ranges. This applies to both the M240 and the M249. |
Steps To Reproduce | Using an M240/M249 with an M145 MGO scope, try to hit pop-up targets at 500/700 meter ranges. |

2d,3d or pip scope? m145 is zeroed for m240 with m80A1 EPR bullets

M145 MGO, 2D scope (there is no 3D scope, except a PIP one). Tested with M240B both with 100 rnd and 50 rnd belts with M80A1EPR rounds. Hits fairly low at 500 meters. |

uhm, what mod version do you use then? latest is 4.1.1. & has 3 types of M145 optic with rather accurate reticle |

I'm on the latest version. Just checked by using the update bat. I have an M145 MGO, M145 MGO ARD and an M145 MGO PIP. The PiP version doesn't actually work. When equipped, it turns into a regular M145 MGO. Very peculiar. Perhaps my version is corrupted somehow?
Either way, it's still hitting low. When aiming at the torso of a pop-up target at 500m with the appropriate marking, it hits the bottom of that target. |

seems like corrupted download indeed or maybe some sort of mod conflict?
http://reyhard.armacenter.pl/arma3/acclist.jpg [^] - that's how it should look like. pip & 3d variants are handled by preference toggle in rhs menu options. delete all files & download mod again (other source maybe?). after that report back if error persist |

My bad, I didn't know about the optic preferences. I have the same variants as you. The 2D scope is what my original report was about. It hits too low. It's hard to tell because of the low zoom, but the 3D scope appears to hit too high. The PiP variant is useless, because you can't see the target at 500 meters. |

3d sight has a crosshair, which as if shifted down. If the target is 800 m, then it is necessary to impose a mark 7.
The very sight in 3D poorly visible.
