0002408: Armor Rating Discrepancy (IOTV/SPC)
The SPCS/SPC have a higher armor rating than does the IOTV. This makes no sense, as all use the same E-SAPI plate inserts and all use kevlar as a construction material for the actual vest. All should be Class IV armor, as is defined by the National Institute of Justice, which rates the vests with plate inserts to reliably stop .30-06 AP rounds. Please make all US vests Class IV or whatever ingame classification matches the NIJ rating for the sake of realism and consistency across equipment.

Most US Army units use SAPI plates (class III) for their plate-carriers.

Although it's true that lately there's been an upgrade to E-SAPI, specially for deployed units, there are many units that still use the SAPI plates.

Our goal is to have two US Army kind of units, the best equipped (Airborne) with SPCS plate carriers using E-SAPI and the average unit using IOTV plate-carriers using SAPI plates.
