| Summary | 0002045: RPG-26 Sight Picture is Inconsistent | ||||
| Description | The various sight-pictures required to properly range the RPG-26 vary from range to range, resulting in a very easily misused launcher. The 100m blade sights fire too high, out to approximately 110m when placed center-mass on a target. (Link 1) The 150m peep sights come to a triangular point, intuition would say you aim using the point of the triangle rather than the bars, but if you aim using the point the round goes short. (Link 2) The 250m peep sights come to a triangular point, and act as you would expect, which is in direct contrast to the 150m peep sights, resulting in an easily-mistaken variance in required sight picture. (Link 3) For the simple matter of utility and ease of use within the game world, I think it would make sense to unify the sight picture required for all three of the peep-sight ranges, so that whether you're aiming at 50, 150, or 250, you utilize the tip of the triangle. (Link 4) Additionally, I believe the blade sight should be altered so that placing the top of the blade center-mass correctly ranges the rocket out to 100m, rather than having to aim low to achieve a hit. | Steps To Reproduce | 1.) Spawn an AFRF Launcher crate in the editor. 2.) Grab an RPG-26, and range it to any of the previously mentioned ranges. 3.) Observe the stated inconsistency by firing at known-range targets. | ||||
