Summary | 0001671: AS-Val/SP-6 Damage broken |
Description | The damage for the AS-Val seems to be broken, I did some testing and found out that armored targets (armored with IOTV and SPC) take up to 4 shots at point blank to the chest to kill with normal SP-6 rounds and 4-5 shots with AP round, so they are worse at penetrating armor than normal round. At 150 meters AP rounds take up to 7 shots to kill a target armored with a SPC, which is ridiculous. at 250 meters, which I would consider the maximum range at which the SP-6 round from an AS-Val or a VSS would be still be efficient and is used, it takes around 12 (!) rounds to kill an armored soldier (to the chest), once again around one round more when using AP rounds. |
Steps To Reproduce | |
Additional Information | Basically, the AS-Val is rubbish at this state, the rounds do less damage than 5.56 rounds and are way worse at penetrating armor. Considering that the standard SP-6 rounds are considered AP, that doesn't make sense. |
