Summary | 0001539: Hind hitting targets 90 degrees off boresight. | ||||
Description | In a quick demonstration to friends, I used a Linebacker M6A2 to down a Hind that was hovering in front of me. To my surprise, when the Hind force-landed, it continued to fire 3 ATGM's off to the distant East. Even more to my surprise, they each came around and hit me despite being far off the cockpit's nose! | ||||
Steps To Reproduce | Tested at the salt lake on Altis: 1) Place Bushmaster, player controlled as gunner 2) Place Hind ATGM hovering, north of player 500~ish meters 3) start Preview. Engage with Bushmaster, until Hind begins its forced-landing routine (hitting tail rotor is advised) Terrain permitting, the HInd should land facing about 90 degrees East. This is still within its envelope of engagement, surprisingly! | ||||
Additional Information | Possible to reproduce by just placing the Hind in editor offset as well. | ||||
