T-80BK — commander doesn't have turret to hull angle and bearing indicator.
T-80BV — commander doesn't have turret to hull angle and bearing indicator.
T-80BV — commander doesn't have turret to hull angle and bearing indicator.

I dont know how to use those indicators. Commander say that enemy is on 235 - where the is 235 on that indicators? It is not fit to this game so should be modified, beacuse they are useless

I was confused too at first. It's seems that Russian military measures bearing in mils, not in degrees so if I understand everything correctly you can use outer ring of your compass to convert mils to degrees.

Vlad, 235 is the compass bearing, the FCS indicators on the T-80 sight are for distance ( it's explained in the documentation: http://doc.rhsmods.org/index.php/T-80 [^] ). :)

I know MistyRonin, i actualy was writing about other indicators, the one on the left of screen showing direction of tanks hull and turret. On it there is a directions, but all are deferent than arma engine uses.

They are made just like in reality, I forgot how to read them, but they have something else to indicate, AFAIK they are used for indirect fire, some sort of similiar indicators have Abrams and other American tanks, also for indirect fire.

Yeah, tanks can act as artillery. ;)

Damian, can you ask your team to remove them and insert original A3 indicators on their place? it will be very usefull. For now on, those indicators are freezeing when i swith to other armored unit and are totally useless. It should even give me proper directions, bearings that commander order me, but it gives nothing. Only usefull option is showing tank and turret directions, but only for moment you swith to other unit :)

guess how it looks like IRL. Russian commander stations were really badly equipped and they started to mount things like compass or turret indicator in T80A & U.

i.e. on T80B commander have primitive bearings on his cupola. It should be also noted, that only person on board that had compass indicator (GPK-59) was driver, so current implementation gives extra advantage to gunner anyway

I see not only i use 3d panorama on T-80 ;) Problem is only one then - after switching to other unit, those indicators should be somehow "refreshed". When on example on map there are 2 playable tanks and player is in one of them, indicator works fine, but when payer switch to 2nd unit indicator will be still showing directions of 1st tank. I know what can be fault - indicator is assigned to "player", - player name is "MAX" and player is switching from first ("MAX" unit) to 2nd named "aflred" (prewious it was AI), so the indicator shows state of players (MAX) tank.

BTW i just dont get it - if T-80 commander indicator (not so primitive, just simply ;) ) uses minutes, not hours for bearings, so what is using gunners indicator? I see minutes on it (not working too good i think - showing diferent direction of comander cupola than it should) but some other values (on ring above minutes). I dont see drivers compas at all, is it mounted on other variants only?
