Summary0005862: Unnecessary zoom control in some 3D sights
DescriptionSights like 1P78 and ACOG have the benefit of zoom control because they are small and the user may get better situational awareness when zoomed out. But sights like SUIT and 1P29 are so large that they have little to no benefit. In these cases it just serves to add an additional step in zooming in to get a better picture.
The screenshot provided illustrates the point, there is almost no space between the eye cup of the 1P29 and the edge of the screen. The SUIT speaks for itself.
Maybe a better solution is to set max zoom as default and give the option to zoom out.
