They engage me. I dont know if other AI. But my speed was about 350kphю
The AI did a usual attack run with A-10 and when exiting got an atgm...was quite far.

Was strafing too

Hard to tell if it's bug - try to fly a little bit with some bullet tracing script to see if AI is doing something impossible. From my test most of the situations which seemed pretty weird from pilot perspective where actually pretty doable from tank perspective. I've noticed that AI is using some godlike leading sometimes so there is some little room for improvement here.

Yes, for wire guided I guess it is possible, the plane flies slow enough to get it.
However laser guded should not be easy, at least on tanks with no auto track.
BIS already have it in vanilla, if you laser lock a missile, and point a laser at sky or water, the laser disappears and missile looses lock and only regains lock when laser points against a solid surface.

POssible to implement this feature BTW ?

Actually 9m119 is beam rider and it doesn't need to see reflection of laser energy since laser sensor are located in the rear of missile.

BIS Vorona launcher is using beam ridding for example
