0000819: Realistic GUI for AH64/AH1Z cameras.
I think for the moment RHS is using the vanila arma version of camera GUI, for all helicopters (AH1z, Ah64d, Ka52, MI24...etc).

What would be nice is to have more realistic symbology (GUI) displayed for gunner cameras. (crosshairs, azimuth, sighting systems, range, datas....etc.)

I dig up this feature request to show what the idea is about (example of the AH64 gunner camera view) :

- the laser designator ON/OFF option should be in the mouse menu instead of from the weapon cycle.

you can see the additionnal crosshair when the laser is enabled. when enabled the 30mm cannon and the laser guided are automatically zeroed/locked on. no need for TAB key to lock-on the laser.

the TAB key should only be needed to lock on with the radar guided Hellfire. and to quick adjust for the cannon.

these features were used in ACE 2. for these who played the AH64 with it.


GUI should also contains these infos :

the Laser awarness square (it shows where is you gun pointing compared to the chopper noze. the JET DLC outdo this feature but why not.
range indicator (telemeter).
Missile Time of flight
remaining ammunition.
Azimuth limit
Yaw limit
etc.

these infos should be displayed like in the video link initially posted.
