Yes?
Mi-28 and AH-64 have independent PNVS thermal turrets on the nose that they control themselves, to assist with nighttime navigation.
AH-1Z does not: camera footage is a feed controlled from the gunner turret

Top is the pilot's night optics(PNVS), bottom is the gunner's targetting and acquisition system (TADS)

AH-1Z (only gunner's TSS): https://www.airport-data.com/images/aircraft/001/191/001191505.jpg [^]

Okey. Goggled it little bit, you are right.
Another questions:
1) Why Mi-28 pilot cant switch on gunner camera like it is in AH-64 or AH-1Z?
2) Why AH-64 pilot cant switch back on day optic after selecting thermal optic in his PNVS?

1) RMB is the feed from the gunner's TADS on AH-64 while Ctrl+RMB is the PNVS. We don't have research material that shows that Mi-28 pilot has a feed from the gunner's optics, so only does Ctrl+RMB PNVS

2) Is an Arma 3 bug. The PNVS is supposed to be thermal-only, but Arma doesn't seem to be able to initialise anything but "normal" view on pilot cameras until the vision mode key is pressed.
