Summary0005226: AI using VOG-25 grenades against tanks and APCs
DescriptionWasting grenades, making themselves a target for the armor which results in a swift death for the whole squad.

On purpose, idea is that they still can destroy fragile equipment mounted externally like optics, external weapons etc. Hitpoints values are not balanced yet so it's not so obvious atm but idea is there

US AI don`t do that though.
And will these destroyed components affect AI inside ?

They will do attack now - loadouts of USAF soldiers was updated with HEDP. As for destroyed components - ideally yes
