Summary0004698: SVD's (sans NPZ) will not attach any other dovetail mounted sights beyond PSO and Night scopes
DescriptionBeyond the PSO and 1pn scopes, the svd will not mount any sights that are mounted with a dovetail such as 1p29 or 1p63.

as far as I remember it's on purpose since SVD is using different type of dovetail than AK. SVD PSO1M1 can be i.e. mounted on AK but it will be loosely holded by the side handle. There is one video from Donbas where you can i.e. see PSO falling down from AK

So most sights, actually all but the PSO-1 models, have universal mounts and should fit on both AK and SVD rifles.
(side note - guess this calls for an update in Joint Rails, maybe define 3 separate AK/SVD/AK+SVD side rails)
